Linda Candler, Top Dog

Owned by several dogs and Cheddar and Squirt the felines, all my animals were rescued from a shelter or private home. My love for animals started when I was young with several cats and dogs. I always wanted a horse and my sister stated that I am trying to make up the weight of that horse I never got with my animals. I'm not even close.

Many of the animals you see on this site are animals that I rescued from my Humane Society days. A strong friendship still remains with many of those adopted animals and their owners. I see people daily that I adopted an animal too. What a great feeling.

I am certified in Pet First Aid for dogs and cats, and I feel privileged to be able to care for your beloved companions and look forward to making great new friends.

Tami, Manager

Tami says, "Not many people can say they are working at their dream job, but I absolutely can! I am owned by a few dogs of my own, Maddux, Lennon and Mazey, who also get to enjoy all of the wonderful experiences Camp K9 has to offer. Interacting and playing with the dogs, watching them grow socially in a safe and fun-loving environment, and sending them home to mom and dad "dog tired"  are just a few things I love about Camp K9. Caring for our campers, and watching fosters thrive until they find their forever homes is a very rewarding and humbling experience. I can't wait to see what tomorrow at Camp K9 will bring. WOOF!!

Lindsay

Groomer

After working for several Vets and doing other odd jobs I knew I wanted a rewarding career working with animals, and grooming seemed like a fun and creative way to spend my time. I started 5 years ago as a groomer's assistant learning the ins and outs and spent a lot of that time learning on show Chow Chows and other large long haired breeds. I then obtained my certification. After grooming for a corporate chain for a while I decided that was not where I wanted to be. I applied at Camp K-9 where I fell in love with the people and the dogs and I plan to be here for a long time.

Lindsey is owned be Sparti, Hermes and Cletus.

Paytience
